Not Quite Fifth Days
What I've Learned from France in 42 Days
- Food is important
- Flip flops shouldn't be worn to school
- I like French boys
- Homework is done in pen
- Eating pie with a fork is frowned upon
- 9.98/10 French people care more about who wins the US presidential election than you do
- The other .2 aren't Democrats
- Smoking a pack of cigarettes a day by the time you're 12 = perfectly acceptable
- Mustaches
- AMERICANISM IS NOT THE ONLY WAY OF LIFE!!!!1!!!11!!!1 :O
- Justin Bieber has, indeed, taken over the world with his high pitched screeches
- No matter how hard you push an American plug into an outlet here, it won't fit. It may, however, blow the electricity out of the house for awhile.
- Don't believe 100% of the things people tell you about other countries
- If you want to throw your host family into the biggest shock of their lives, explain to them what a vegan is and that your mother used to be one
- Laughing is an international language
- Mayonnaise is delicious
I like French boys too ;)
